In 2020 Cairn partnered with the Business Ferret LLC, a Seattle based strategic finance consultancy to address this issue across the UK and European markets, leveraging their IP, modelling and experience as the foundation for our analytic services.
With more than 15 years of tried and tested analysis experience and currently deployed to analyse the monthly financials of companies with combined revenues in excess of $1 billion, the team has extensive experience in helping companies streamline operations, reduce risk and improve cashflows.
Headquartered in Scotland and supporting clients across the UK and overseas, we work closely with owners and investors to deliver and implement clear, concise and effective strategic and financial advice.

An experienced accountant, FP&A analyst and corporate financier, Andy founded Cairn Analytics in 2020 after realising that businesses of all types require better access to detailed financial and strategic expertise in order to successfully scale their companies.
Andy has worked across the full spectrum of businesses from global listed corporates to founding management teams and across multiple countries including the UK, Norway, Italy, France, Malaysia and Canada.

Dan became interested in finance early in his thirty-plus year career when he started selling financial products for a US national firm shortly after college. To help demonstrate how transactions would affect the client financially, Dan started designing explanatory spreadsheets. As he moved farther in the finance field, he continued to develop that early version into The Business Ferret.
Since 2005, through The Business Ferret LLC, Dan has worked with businesses across the US and beyond, using his comprehensive, detailed analysis tools, to provide insight and guidance toward higher cash flow and reduced risk.
